The Embodied Voice

Experience two days of joyous play, deep listening, creative discovery, and collective music-making. At The Embodied Voice, we explore how body and voice intertwine through somatic practice, improvisation, and co-creation. Expect laughter, liberation, and connection as we open space for authentic expression — no songs to learn, just pure spontaneous music made together.

Designed for anyone curious about authentic expression—whether experienced singers or complete beginners—this weekend offers a playful, supportive environment where perfectionism gives way to curiosity, connection, and presence. Saturday will offer a free-wheeling introduction to the moving and sounding body, perfect for anyone new to the practice. Sunday will offer a delectable dive for those wanting to further explore collaborative vocal improvisation, aka. making spontaneous songs.

Set within the peaceful natural surroundings of Ser Vivo, the gathering also includes space for rest, reflection, and community, fostering a deeper sense of vitality, self-expression, and belonging. Choose to join for one day, or both; join us for lunch each day or bring your own; choose to stay overnight at Ser Vivo and make it a weekend retreat.
