Contact Tango is an exploration of the encounter between two creative dance forms: Contact Improvisation and Tango.

By weaving together the principles of these two styles, we discover new ways of dancing in connection; with freedom, joy, and creativity.

Let yourself be moved by the rhythms, melodies, and energies of Tango, and be inspired by the fluidity of Contact Improvisation.

𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫

𝐋𝐲𝐝𝐢𝐚 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 is a dancer, choreographer, and teacher with over 20 years of international experience. A graduate of Codarts Dance Academy Rotterdam, she has performed and taught across Europe, Latin America, and Africa, and co-founded the contemporary tango company “Tango Now.”

She is a pioneer of Contact Tango and Neotango, blending tango with somatic practices, conscious touch, and improvisation. Her work focuses on connection, embodiment, and authentic expression in both performance and teaching. She continues to develop performances and lead workshops that invite depth, playfulness, and human connection.

No previous experience or fixed partner is needed, Lydia will guide you through a playful journey of structured improvisation.
