Wuo Tai

Wuo Tai – The First Module

The Articular Module with EvaSion

13–14 June 2026

After a very nourishing first part of this training in March 2026, we are looking forward to continuing to study WuoTai with Evasion in June. Even if you didn’t participate in the first part, you are welcome to join the second one.

What is Wùo Taï?

Wùo Taï is a branch of Osteopathy. The person who coined this name, Roland Combes, is a passionate osteopath with several years of clinical experience who found that the practice of classical osteopathy lacked beauty and, inspired by both Asian trends in Body Therapy and Dance, lowered Osteopathy to the futon to be able to Dance with the bodies in a Tango of Mutual Healing. This is how the “Dance of the Fascias” or “Osteo-Dance” was born during the turn of the millennium.

After meeting Nathalie, his wife, from the alchemy of their skills, they modeled this creation in a Contemporary practice that is based on 64 main Gestures, inspired by the 64 Hexagrams of the I Ching, combining Philosophy, Anatomy, Embryology, and Physiology of the body in service of Life.

To practice Wùo Taï is to Receive what we Give, it is to live the Beauty of the Danced Elliptical Gesture, leaving aside reasoning and thought. We trust that intuitively our corporality finds harmony between our bodies, our hearts, and our spirits. Between the space that unites everything.

Since the year 2000 Roland, together with his wife Nathalie, they travel all over the world, as of today they have been in 17 countries, sharing this Art where we turn our backs on everything we know, we believe, and we think.

What will we learn?

The Articular Module is the starting point of the Wuo Tai journey. This first module offers the foundations, the place where we learn how bodies speak through structure, reciprocal tension, and subtle principles of osteopathic logic woven into movement.

  • We explore the roots of Wuo Tai: its philosophy, its essential principles, and the unique way two bodies enter into a living dialogue through a shared gesture.
  • We work with the larger, more visible movements that help us understand the body’s architecture before entering the subtleties.
  • We focus on reciprocal tension, the importance of a fixed point, and—above all—the dance, that shared rhythm that sustains the entire practice.
  • Not a dance for entertainment, but a therapeutic dance: movement-as-healing, bodywork-as-dialogue.
  • We will learn 17 basic gestures, each with its own declinations and variations.
These gestures form the grammar of Wuo Tai: a solid base for understanding, integrating, and later expanding into more refined therapeutic work.

The Two-Weekend Format

EvaSion teaches this first module over two separate weekends, giving your body real time to practice, assimilate, and integrate the osteopathic principles and movements.

The space between weekends allows the work to settle deeply in your hands and in your body. Those who complete both weekends will receive a certificate that validates the First Module for the Official Wùo Taï School, allowing you to continue the school’s training path.

The whole training has a total of 8 modules. Once you start the Wuo Tai training, you can take modules wherever and at your own place. The official Wuo Tai school offers courses in places like Sicily, Poland, Belgium, France, Japan, Brazil… It’s actually a good idea to repeat modules because each one is so intense and packed with tons of info. The teaching covers anatomy, physiology, philosophy, neurology, osteopathy, I-Ching and more.
