Volunteer as a Team!

ESC Volunteer opportunities await!

Come as an ESC volunteer in June

Are you eager to immerse yourself in a dynamic venue committed to sustainable living and holistic development?
SerVivo is on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals keen on contributing their skills and passion. From June 17th to July 1st, you’ll be part of a 10-person team contributing to meaningful landscaping and artistic projects in nature.
If you’re a resident or citizen of the EU and under 30, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What is ESC?

The European Solidarity Corps (ESC) is an initiative by the European Union, that empowers young individuals aged 18 to 30 through volunteering or work projects within their country or abroad. It’s designed to promote solidarity, encourage social engagement, and facilitate personal growth by offering opportunities to contribute to society, gain experience, and develop new skills across diverse activities.
Participants benefit from essential support like food, accommodation, travel, pocket money and insurance.
In this short-term group experience, participants will have the opportunity to work together as a team, contribute to a shared project, learn through hands-on experience and immerse themselves in a diverse community.

Dates & duration

The team volunteering action will be fifteen days, from the 17th to the 1st of July.

  • Arrival is on Tuesday 16th of June.
  • Departure is on Thursday 2nd of July.

You will join as part of a group arriving together, creating a shared journey from start to finish. There is no flexibility of duration, you must arrive and departure on the mentioned dates above.

The focus: landscaping & creative building

For 15 days the team will focus on improving the SerVivo space through landscaping and artistic work.
Together, you will: create cobblestone paths around the land, design and develop green areas, build an artistic eucalyptus fence and build a fountain in one of the main gathering spaces.
Other tasks unseparable from community living will also be part of the program, such as cooking.

Volunteer profile

We seek volunteers who are deeply motivated and prepared to invest their energy in both hands-on tasks and active participation within our community, along with a basic knowledge of English and organisational abilities.
Some parts of the project we need profiles with specific skills: experience in woodwork, ceramics or building cobblestone paths.
Being a hands-on person and feeling comfortable using basic tools (like an electric drill) is definitely a plus. We also value and seek for creatives minds to join this project!
That said, you don’t need to have any of these skills to join. What matters most is your motivation and willingness to learn. We welcome diverse backgrounds, and this project is also an opportunity to discover and develop new abilities.
Volunteers must show an interest in learning and living in a community. Living closely with a community of diverse individuals can be both challenging and rewarding, and we seek people who are open to that experience, and eager to support our shared values and goals.

* SerVivo is committed to inclusion and will give priority to applications from young people facing fewer opportunities.

Schedule

Each day at SerVivo follows a rhythm that balances contribution, connection, and rest.

We will focus on the project for around 7h per day. While the exact schedule may vary from day to day depending on the needs of the project, weather and the group, this gives you a general idea:

  • Morning start (8:00 – 9:00)
  • Breakfast (9:00 – 9:45)
  • Morning Circle (9:45 – 10:30)
A space to connect, check-in as a group, and distribute tasks.
  • Main work session (10:30 – 14:00)
  • Lunch & rest (14:00 – 16:00)
Time to eat, relax and recharge.
  • Afternoon session (16:00 – 18:00)
  • Evening free time
Space to rest, connect, share, or simply enjoy the beauty of the place.

Weekends off to rest, explore, or enjoy the surrounding nature.

Living together

You will share accommodation and daily life with the group.
Community life includes:

  • Cooking and eating together
  • Taking care of shared spaces
  • Participating in daily check-ins or circles
  • Co-creating activities and moments

Some activities will be prepared to bond as a group, others will be a co-creation. The life of SerVivo continues, this means that there will be a CI class and Jam on Thursdays, as always.

I arrived in SerVivo to help build the new dance floor and by the time I left, I had taken part in multiple ecstatic dances, jams, classes, and other events, on the very wood I drilled together with my friends. SerVivo is a place of transformation where energy is always moving and this beautifully chaotic atmosphere was equally calm, allowing for much healing. I healed through connecting with the other beings passing by, through self expression on the dance floor, through eating and cooking nutritious meals and singing together in prayer.

To give a brief review of a place that feels like home and family to me is where words lack and the experience is the true capturing essence of being. But for the sake of the written word and the soul that might be served by it. Here goes: SerVivo is where comfort and challenge meet. Being embraced by family at my own pace. To teach my mind how to be silent while the body takes over to dance, these are special and precious moments to me. But also to do some maintenance work get the working spirit going and after breath in some nature and eat some good food. Connect on deeper levels with resonating beings. Thankyou and let’s live
