A workshop to dive into the skill of crafting flutes

My name is Diogo Quaresma and I invite you to build your own Native American-style flute in a 3-days workshop.

The craft of this sacred and beautiful instrumental will be a creative journey and together’ ritual.

I will be guiding you in this process with all my presence, experience, humor and mindfulness to create from a simple piece of river cane an expression of your heart melody. In this workshop I will share the knowledge and technique to build and tune your own flute.

I will also give you insights into playing this wonderful wind instrument.

The materials and some of the tools to build the flute will be provided. I am happy to invite you to bring personal items with you (feathers, precious stones, etc) to personalize your flute.

In the end, we will be sharing each others creation process, play and celebrate the new born flutes.
