DESCRIPTION:Performance: “What am I doing here?”\nFriday, 13th February at 7:30 PM\n\nAfter a wonderful solo Butoh performance with Reimar Wen Shen last month, we felt inspired—and next week we’re excited to present a physical theatre performance by Viktória Makra: “What am I doing here?”\nNot long after I moved to Portugal, I found myself confused at a dance gathering, which sparked the creation of the initial monologue of this show. It’s a deep dive into my relationship with dance, art, theatre, and my own body. My exploration draws from my personal background and the challenges of being an artist navigating life as an immigrant in a new land.\nWhile deeply personal, the performance also touches on broader issues.
